Mark D. Allen was born and raised in West Virginia. He received a Th.M. from Dallas Theological Seminary, a D.Min. from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and a Ph.D. from the University of Notre Dame. He now serves at Liberty University as the Chair of Biblical Studies in the Rawlings School of Divinity. He is also a Fellow for Liberty University’s Center for Apologetics and Cultural Engagement. Formerly, Allen served for almost 20 years as a church planter and pastor in Virginia and Indiana.
