NALINI JONES is the author of a story collection, What You Call Winter, and novel, The Unbroken Coast. Her writing has appeared in One Story, Ploughshares, Guernica, Elle India, and Scroll, among other publications, and she has contributed to anthologies about politics, music, and families, including those affected by HIV in AIDS Sutra. She has been awarded a National Endowment of the Arts Literature Fellowship, O. Henry Prize, and Pushcart prize. She lives in Connecticut and teaches at Fairfield University.
