Nella Coiro is an author and a poet, as well as a retired mental health professional. She had to overcome much adversity and many challenges in her own life, and her main purpose in life is to help others by sharing her experiences, inspiring others, and assisting them in finding their inner strength. After being on dialysis for 6 1/2 years, she is very grateful to have received a kidney transplant. Aside from writing, she is also a talented musician and has performed in bands. She also enjoys painting, movies, sitcoms, and listening to music, and she loves animals, especially dogs. Nella lives with her husband Ken, and their rescue dog, Logan.
