Olga Lampmann is a children’s author, illustrator, and passionate ocean lover living in a picturesque wine region of Germany with her husband and diva cat. She studied Biomedicine and later trained as a coach, combining her love for science, nature, and personal growth in the stories she creates for children. Olga has always been fascinated by the underwater world. As a real “water baby,” she spends as much time as possible swimming, snorkeling, and diving; especially in the Red Sea in Egypt, which she considers her personal paradise. The colorful sea life and magical beauty of the ocean inspired her to write books that introduce children to the wonders of marine life and encourage them to protect our fragile oceans. Deeply interested in yoga, meditation, and self-development, Olga also believes children should learn to trust their inner voice and imagination. Her tales gently encourage confidence, curiosity, and kindness while inviting young readers into magical worlds inspired by nature. Olga both writes and illustrates her books, combining her lifelong passions for art and biology. She was inspired by imaginative storytellers such as Michael Ende, whose works showed how stories can open doors to entirely new worlds. Her first book, Rocco – The Fish Who Learned to Fly, is the beginning of a series of nature-inspired children’s stories. *All proceeds from her books are donated to HEPCA, a non-governmental organization dedicated to protecting marine life in the Red Sea.*
