Paula Kay grew up in a small town along the Mississippi River in Wisconsin, where she spent her childhood climbing bluffs and gazing out over the water, dreaming of faraway places and stories yet to be told. Today, she writes emotionally rich women’s fiction while traveling and living in different parts of the world, drawing inspiration from the people and places she encounters along the way. Her stories often explore family, friendship, legacy, and the quiet moments that shape who we become. When she is not writing, Paula enjoys long conversations with friends, books that make her cry, and a little too much reality television.
