Richard Carson Bailey cut his writer’s teeth as a copywriter at General Electric, his computer science teeth as a programmer at U.S. Steel, and his visualization teeth as a photogrammetrist in the U.S. Air Force. PANACEA: The Age of AG is his first novel and the result of many years of wondering whether the real danger of Artificial Intelligence isn’t that robots will decide to kill us; rather, it’s that we’ll become so dependent on AI that we’ll no longer be able to solve the simplest problems, in which case human agency will vanish, and we’ll become like children.
