I spent my early childhood and teenage years on the American East Coast. After coming into contact with a criminal case that remains unsolved to this day, I returned to my home country, Germany, and began writing thrillers. What started as tentative attempts soon turned into a passion that eventually led me into the world of psychological thrillers. My protagonists are often caught between reality and madness—and that’s exactly where I feel most at home when I write. Today, I live in a secluded small town in southern Germany.
