Silvia Montemurro was born on the night of San Lorenzo in 1987 and now lives on Lake Como. She graduated in Criminology and participated in the 14th edition of the RAI Script Fiction course for screenwriters. He made his debut in 2013 with the thriller "l'Inferno avrà i tuoi occhi" (Newton) nominated for the Calvino Prize, followed by "Cercami nel vento" and" Trovami nel sole" (Sperling & Kupfer), "I fiori nascosti nei libri" and "La casa delle farfalle" (Rizzoli), "L'orchestra rubata di Hitler" (Salani), and then published with Edizioni e/o "La piccinina" 2023 " (Wondy Readers' Jury Prize), "Le cicogne della Scala" (2024) and "La Mondina" (2025). For Giunti Editore, again in 2025, he made his debut in historical romance with The Secret of Villa Carlotta, (Rights sold in 10 foreign countries) the first volume of the saga "The Villas on Lake Como", consisting of 5 novels. The second chapter "The Bride of Villa Balbianello" will be published on 3 June 2026.
