Lead Pastor Steve Alessi founded Metro Life Church in Doral, Florida, in 1997 with his wife, Mary, and serves as a spiritual guide to all who walk through its doors. He was called into the ministry at the age of nineteen and has fulfilled this calling in good faith for more than thirty years. After graduating from Southeastern University in 1984, Steve served alongside his parents as an Associate Pastor for thirteen years before establishing Metro Life. When his parents, John and Ann retired in 2013, Steve and Mary accepted the responsibilities as the Lead Pastors of Grace Church as well. Together, they transformed it into the Dadeland Campus of Metro Life Church, uniting the two congregations as one Church family. Through his ministry, Steve strives to make a positive impact on the lives of congregants and members of the community at large. He is proud of the church’s growing local campus and its vibrant, innovative online offerings. One of his newest initiatives is the Goodfellas Camp, a retreat where men who are committed to God can connect, unwind, and deepen their understanding of faith and Man Up.
