Susan Boyan has worked as a psychotherapist, educator, trainer, and parenting coordinator. She is the founder of The Cooperative Parenting Institute in Atlanta, Georgia. With over 40 years of clinical experience working with children she found herself specializing in high conflict divorce. She has co-authored Cooperative Coparenting through Separation and Divorce, Crossroads of Separation and Divorce, The Coparent Communication Handbook, and The Parenting Coordination Reference Manual. After twenty years of hard work, she has published Transforming Coparent Conflict through Scripture and Psychology. This latest book is a first-of-a-kind devotional created for high-conflict divorced parents. While working with Christian parents in high conflict relationships Susan discovered that encouraging parents to match their beliefs and their behaviors was the most effective way of instilling a significant desire to change in a parent. As a result, this devotional uniquely focuses on the individual rather than the conflict, on blaming your coparent or on feeling victimized. The goal of this devotional is to transform yourself from a frustrated and angry coparent to a peaceful parent living the life you choose.
