This is a mafia romance performed by Desiree Ketchum and James Cassidy, and at just under 6 hours, it’s honestly the sweet spot for my ear holes and my life.
From the very beginning, I was hooked. The way the story is set up pulls you in fast, and I truly couldn’t stop listening. I won’t give anything away, but just know—it keeps you locked in.
And the performances? So good. Desiree Ketchum and James Cassidy absolutely elevate this story with their acting and pacing. They bring the tension, the emotion, and the flow in a way that makes it impossible to pause.
And I have to talk about the kid voices—because this was my first time hearing James Cassidy portray a child, and wow…what a kid to bring to life. BJ Alpha did a wonderful job crafting that character, and James delivered it perfectly.
I really enjoyed this listen—it’s a five-star for me ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
And if my friend suggests another book? I’ll add it to my list and get to it…eventually 😅
