Raven Souls MC is set in the same world as my Underestimated Series, though you don't need to listen to that series to enjoy this one. However, a few of the characters from Raven Souls MC are first introduced in The Crown of Fools (Underestimated series book five.)

What a crazy RIDE 😍

I had such a fun time with this audio!! It’s definitely a different take to MC romances but I was here for it! The FMC is a total b@d@ss who is a stunt double for a living, and from the moment Genesis sees her, he’s a goner.

There was never a dull moment throughout this book. Amity had no filter and had the best come backs for every situation. I loved her friendship with her bestie, they seem like total opposites but the second Navaeh gets to talking about her spicy books, all bets are off.

I think what made me love this story so much was the banter between the friends. The men in Raven Soul MC were loyal to a fault. And the way they talked to each other had me laughing out loud. I’m beyond excited to see where this author goes next with this series!!

The suspense plot in this book had me on the edge of my seat. It definitely kept you second guessing what the heck was going on, and I’ll be the first to admit Candice had me tearing up quite a few times!!

The narrators, Meg Sylvan & Anthony Palmini brought an extra level of emotion to the story. I thought they did so well with bringing the story to life and just adding to the overall enjoyment! I highly recommend doing audio if it’s something you like!!

Their over all story

I did an immersive read for this one—listening to the audiobook while following along in the book—and it made the experience even better.

This is a unique take on an MC romance and tells the story of G and Amity. It’s action-packed, suspenseful, and full of heart. Amity is a fearless stuntwoman with a traumatic past who’s used to standing on her own—until a grumpy but secretly romantic biker knocks her completely off balance. Falling for G might be the most terrifying stunt she’s ever attempted.

G, a key member of the Raven Souls MC, is dealing with some heavy news and doesn’t exactly handle it well. A drunken first meeting leads to an unexpected connection. When Amity ends up working on the movie filming at the MC compound, their worlds collide. As they grow closer and their feelings deepen, danger is never far behind.

I had such a great time listening to the ALC of Rest in Pieces! This was my first book by Candice Wright, and it definitely won’t be my last.
Amity is such a fun and refreshing FMC. After a tragic accident ended her Olympic dreams, she rebuilt her life as a stuntwoman, which instantly made her feel fearless and strong. I loved that she’s bold, independent, and not afraid to throw herself into danger for her job… even if she keeps her emotional walls firmly in place when it comes to relationships.

Genesis (G), the MC VP of the Raven Souls, was the perfect match for her. He’s the kind of biker hero you expect in an MC romance, rough around the edges, loyal, protective, and completely devoted once he realizes Amity is his. Their relationship starts off a bit fast and casual, which actually fits both of their mindsets since neither of them expects it to become anything serious. Watching that connection slowly deepen as the story progresses made their journey really enjoyable.

The story has a solid mix of romance, action, and MC drama. I liked how the plot unfolds and introduces bigger conflicts as the book goes on, especially with enemies circling around the club. The side characters were also really interesting, and they definitely made me curious about future books in the Raven Souls MC series.

Now let’s talk about the audiobook. The narration by Meg Sylvan and Anthony Palmini was fantastic. Their duet performance brought Amity and Genesis to life in such a natural and engaging way. Meg Sylvan captured Amity’s strength and personality perfectly, while Anthony Palmini delivered the gritty, confident energy that fits a biker hero like G. Together they made the listening experience really immersive and entertaining.

Overall, this was a fun, steamy MC romance with great banter, engaging characters, and a story that kept me hooked. A great start to the Raven Souls MC series, and I’m definitely excited to see whose story comes next.
