Loving Raven’s Souls MC!

Another banger from Candice Wright. I'm loving this MC series. This book follows Nevaeh and Havoc who could not be any more different than oil and water. Tropes include he falls first, virgin FMC, forced proximity, breeding kink. Nevaeh is a somewhat sheltered romance author who gets lured in by Raven's Souls newest President Havoc, whose history is complicated as he has just come out of jail after being forced to take the fall for his brother, only to find out his brother has hooked up with his old lady and she's pregnant with his child.
The pacing was good and there were some definitely curve balls. My only challenge with it was that there is some non-con/dub con that I don't feel is addressed fully and it bothered me that the FMC barely acknowledges it. That being said, I still enjoyed the story and love how each book helps to set up another couple (or two!). Lily Stone and Walker Williams are PHENOMENAL. Lily captures Nevaeh's innocence and strenght so perfectly. She's a new to me narrator but will definitely seek her out. Walker has both heat and heart in his voice and performed Havoc perfectly. Can't wait for the next book!

Fun, a little wild, and entertaining.

The first time I read it? 100% for the breeding kink. No shame. Listening to the audiobook version somehow made the whole experience so much better.

Havoc’s constant stream of creative excuses for why he shouldn’t use protection had me cracking up the entire time. Every single justification he threw at Nevaeh was ridiculous in the best way possible. Those moments were absolutely chef’s kiss. They gave the story this chaotic, slightly unhinged humor that made the dynamic between them really fun to listen to.

Narrators Lilly Stone and Walker Williams fit the characters beautifully. The chemistry between Havoc and Nevaeh works because she doesn’t just roll over for him—she pushes back, questions things, and keeps the tension going. Their banter and power struggle made the audiobook feel fast-paced and entertaining.

If you’re looking for a dark romance that doesn’t take itself too seriously and delivers some truly memorable “how is that your argument??” moments from the MMC…this one is definitely worth the listen.

So good! Loved it!

Loved it! It was a little less funny and a little more dark and suspenseful than the first book but, it was perfect for Havoc and Naveah’s story. It was quite an emotional rollercoaster filled with twists and turns that kept my attention. I wasn’t expecting things to happen the way they did toward the end, at all… just 😮 I can’t wait to listen to the next book! I love the great characters, the fun banter, the found family and the strong FMC’s this series has. So good!

The narration performed in duet by Lilly Stone and Walker Williams was so good! Their voices fit the characters and complimented each other so well. They done a great job bringing this story to life.

Her secret life as a spicy novelist finally overflows into reality when a summer escape leads her directly into the path of Havoc, the club’s morally grey president. The transition from her sheltered upbringing to the gritty, dangerous world of the MC is handled with a perfect balance of tension and character growth. Watching Nevaeh shed her "good girl" persona to find her own voice and strength made her an incredibly grounding and relatable heroine amidst the beautifully chaotic "lady-napping" and obsession-fueled romance.

The duet narration by Lilly Stone and Walker Williams was absolute perfection, elevating the story to a visceral level. Lilly captures Nevaeh’s mix of vulnerability and burgeoning sass with incredible nuance, while Walker delivers Havoc’s rough, dangerous edge with a performance that cemented him as a personal favorite narrator for me. Their electric chemistry made every sarcastic exchange and high-stakes emotional moment land with much more impact than the written word alone could convey. While the plot leans heavily into the dark and intense tropes of the genre, the top-tier performances and Nevaeh's empowering journey of self-discovery make this an standout listen for any brat-and-biker romance fan.

I need the next one! I've read these, but the recorded version is even better than the book. The narrators are perfect and the story fabulous. well worth purchasing.
