(secretly mad Brentmoore is a bad guy) This Samantha post pops up on my IG. seen full cast and fantasy which I love ( And not RH thank God) So here I am sad one of my favorite voice actors is a bad guy. And not the main narrator. thank goodness it's another favorite narrator though. They did a great job. I like the narration more than the story. But it was worth the $ for the story And narration. The cliff hanger is a break you neck type not a nice sprain your ankle. be ready to buy second. Possible SPOILER next.

I think I low ball the story more because of that "other" girl scandal stuff. I think my eyes almost got stuck in my head with that eye roll. AND it was Samantha's voice. 😭
I enjoyed the paranormal magic parts of the book and will continue more for that part. because really cool stuff pops up. Also the male voices definitely enjoyable. And waiting for Kate Daniels or any of my other favorites in that type of world is taking to long. I do suspect there is a lot more to come in second book magical wise. I look forward to that. This audio covers a prequel type from his P.O.V which was kind of nice. but my read listen I had to go only to the audio for awhile then went ahead and did read and listen it's not included in the first book. I was having trouble with kindle it wanted to start audio half way through first chapter in regular book. so listened to audio until chapter 2 in her P.O.V. so if you have same problem as I did no reading until safely with audio for roughly 13 chapters. I think his P.O.V was 12.

If you’re looking for spice, keep looking.

Duet narration is the only thing going for this audiobook. The story telling is very confusing and jumbled. The transitions between the characters within the chapters are very clunky. And, it’s just boring. There’s only two spice scenes and they are super mellow and tame. Very disappointed.
