Loved the fantasy and the narrators

The fantasy was great and the narrators made it better. I can't wait for book number 2.

Luca & Rosa

Just wow! I ate this one up so fast. I’m DYING for book 2 literally why did you have to do us dirty with that cliffhanger in the end. This story has definitely brought me back to my love for paranormal romances. I love mafia romances but what makes a mafia romance even more intense is a vampire mafia romance.

Rosa and Luca have this instantaneous connection that they both are completely confused about coming from totally different worlds; it's unthinkable. I was completely absorbed in their story and the world that was created around them. Rosa is fiery and fierce and Luca is endearing and kind towards Rosa which is so unexpected.

Narrated by Maxine Mitchell and Sean Masters WHAT A PAIR!!! This audio is amazing. Maxine brings out Rosa's strong fearless personality perfectly. Sean Masters is fantastic as Luca. I’ve been listening to him more and more and he just gets better with every audiobook he narrates. They created an extremely enjoyable listening experience along with amazing writing that makes for an all around phenomenal experience.

Delicious paranormal romance

This was a sexy and thrilling paranormal romance ride that I did not want to get off of 🤭 Rosa and Luca were absolutely delicious in this enemies to lovers story surrounding mafia-esq families of vampire hunters and the vampires themselves. Rosa herself is a Seer who has a unique background but her skills are no match for the 400 year old Luca… and I don’t just mean his vampire strength😋 these two are sinfully drawn to each other and the chemistry is off the charts. I loved how devoted and protective Luca was of Rosa, despite knowing she’s a strong AF woman who doesn’t take any crap. These two both have so many family drama issues and yet they stick it out together. It was fast paced, SPICY 🥵🥵🥵 the way only Sadie can write, and tension/action filled. I was lucky enough to review the duet narration audio and Maxine Mitchell & Sean Masters did a phenomenal job with the characters!

Italian mafia vampires, yes pls!

Let's start with the fact that there are Italian mafia vampires in this book??? Please give me more of this!! This was such a fun unique sub genre mashup and I absolutely ate it up.

I really enjoyed listening to this audiobook! Sean Masters is becoming one of my top favorite male narrators. All of the accents/pronunciation were spot on with the narration.

I absolutely love Rosa as a character, she is such a badass. Thankfully she wasn't a clueless heroine type of FMC.
I think this is more typical Sadie fashion as there is insta-lust involved. It's not always bad but it's not my favorite trope.... Rosa tries to fight her attraction to Luca, who is very much a type of person she is set to kill as part of her job, but we all know how that will go ;)

On the edge of my seat the whole time!

A kick ass FMC, a fabulously rich story and lots of humor. My favorite things! Narration is so good at elevating the story further. Can’t wait for the second one!
