I can't get over the performance of the narrators in this book. They were perfect selections for this book. While I only found the book itself to be OK. I highly recommend the audiobook.

This book was my first book by this author and I enjoyed it. It was interesting to me, and kept me intrigued, and now I'm curious to see what happens next in this series.
Blue is a doll, that was made from scraps. She has come across the Boogeyman, and he has taken an interest in her. He decides, she can help him get something back. However, as the book goes on they both start to develop real feelings for each other.
I'm excited to continue on in this series to see if they get their happy ending. I enjoyed the twists and turns.

I went into this blind, only based on the fact that it's a nightmare before Christmas / coraline retelling. I wasn't sure what to expect but I was not disappointed AT ALL!
Imagine a world where Jack is the bad guy, Coraline is the fmc, and Oogie Boogie is a hot glow in the dark mmc. Complete with the trio of devils who cause chaos all through the story!
I was SAT the whole time I listened. Dollface is spicy and fast-paced. Filled with action from start to finish. And let me tell you, some of those spice scenes were quite unique.
The narrators did such an amazing job!! When i tell you its a very unique story, i can't imagine it could have been easy to bring it to life, but I felt like i was sitting right there in Nightmare with them!
If you like dark retellings, i 100% rec this book!!
