𝗔𝗻𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗮 is practically forced to marry the intimidating Lorenzo Ricci. Lorenzo has a cunning plan to break her spirit, but he underestimates Ana's ability to best him at his own game.
𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 from the start, with Ana and Lorenzo constantly at odds with each other. Despite their clashes, Ana proves to be a strong and resilient character, refusing to back down from Lorenzo's attempts to control her. And boy, did he try to make her life a living hell, but Ana had a fierce personality, which is refreshing to see in a mafia princess. Lorenzo, on the other hand, is perceived with a volatile temper. He is the kind of man who will destroy everything and anything that comes near his wife. They both had explosive tempers, and I was so here for it!
The cherry on top was definitely the duet narration. 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 always impresses me with his voice. He absolutely nailed Lorenzo. And 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗶𝘀 𝗣𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗲 did a phenomenal job voicing a strong-willed Anastacia. If you're a fan of mafia romance and arranged marriage, this audiobook is a must-listen. A big thank you to 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗮 𝗝𝗮𝘆𝗻𝗲 and 𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝗡𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗔𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗼 for providing me with this great listen.
