Overall the story is fantastic. Hockey, spice, action, drama, it has it all. The readers do a great job of bringing this story to life. Can’t wait for book 2!

I've never read/listened to this author. I'm completely dialed into this series. I'm going to wait for the next book to hit audible verses hopping on my kindle because the narrator's are fantastic!

This story really reminded me of the pucking wrong series. It was good and love the narration. I agree with some of the other reviews that the female narrator should be younger. The ending seemed off to me

❤️‍🔥Hey romance lovers. If you are searching for a book that is wildly different and sexy times 1000 this could be your next fave! AHH! First of all, I want to say congratulations to Jessica for writing this fun and wicked romance. It can't be easy in a sea of romance books, both paperback and audible. If you are into ...unbridled passion, dirty talk, and in your face love scenes you will love this book! (GASP!)

If you take the book for face value like I did, it is basically a fun down and dirty romance!
Half way through I started over analyzing the characters ~ Sorry Jess! (only because I have a difficult time relating to a girl of 19 to 22 years of age. lol! )
All three of the characters are basically feral!

The book insinuates a throuple relationship accenting each individual characters personality along this torrid tale.

🧨Jackson a.k.a. JAX is a typical insecure and awkward male. The only thing he does well is hockey! The rest of his life is rather F-ed up! He is alpha times 1000! I took him for face value, knowing that his leading lady was into his personality, even though I was not. There's not much about this guy's character that drew me to him. As a whole, their relationship works, even though it's sweetly twisted. Again if you only take things at face value, it's easier to listen to the book because in reality, it's really absurd! (wink wink nudge nudge)

🧨Aurora ~ is a HIGH PAID prostitute. She basically lives her life by the seat of her pants and lets it all ride on her youth and looks! This is how she seems to get so many men lining up.. including JAX!
I wasn't a real fan of hers because she is grossly entitled! She plays dumb, but she's not and uses men to her advantage! She did not see a problem sleeping with her clients plus Jax and Ethan basically all at the same time. However, she has a problem with any of them having other relationships. Wow, can you say double standard! I wish Jessica would have written that part of the story a bit more fair. Basically, I saw her character as a classic "gold digger"!!!!

🧨Ethan – a typical married guy that wants to screw around with younger women. (sigh) He's jealous of the players on his team because he no longer possesses youth or the ability to play professional hockey (so he is living vicariously through them) He rents Aurora, a call girl and decides to cheat on his wife. The scene of them in the limo is odd because I did not feel any connection between the two of them. In fact, he basically blew her off by acting not interested in staying on his phone. She was still hung up on Jax but still sleeps with her clients like shes ordering a pizza...lol! Like I said FERAL!

Is this book sexy ....of course .....is it well written ....yes indeed it is! Are the characters interesting ....heck yea! Who wouldn't want to be a millionaire with multiple mansions, exotic cars, a jet awaiting and unlimited bank account.... Just imagine! AHHH!

I enjoyed the book because I took it for face value. It's fun, sexy, and you irreverent!
Was I rooting for one particular character or couple.... no. I did not particularly like any of the characters on a personal note. They work in the book because they are all super flamboyant, outrageous and DAMN SEXY! (Sweet Jesus!)

The book drew me in for its ostentatious appeal, Jessica's sultry words, and the overall fantasy like story. GRACIAS JESS!

A shout out to Troy and Ramona for their sensational narration once again! Simply the best! AHH!

Five stars! If you're looking for a wild ride, you just found it amigas!

Aurora has her work cut out for her with these two! she works hard to not only take care of herself but her ailing grandmother. It's a fateful night that she meets Jackson. For him there's only Aurora...but he'll have to fight his demons if he wants her. Years later she meets Ethan and their whirlwind romance sparks something...soon with a shocking surprise, it seems like fate forces Aurora that she has 3 things to come to terms with.
