Can’t wait for book 2!!!

I came for Jacob Morgan and stayed for the…well everything. This is my first book by the author but I can’t wait to read the others in this series.

Loved it!

The characters are likable, the banter is good, the spice is good, Theo is a solid book boyfriend despite his not-the-hottest name lol

I loved loved loved this book!! This is the exact kind of dark romance that is right up my alley. First, this book is so so spicy and it being narrated by Jacob Morgan also…oh my gosh. 😛

The character growth in this story is addicting. The FMC is headstrong which is so nice to read because some dark romances they can be written as if they are weak, but not June!! The MMC is protective but also aware that June can handle herself if need be. What started out as fake dating/blackmail quickly flipped into both characters healing each other by sharing their traumas.

I devoured this book so quickly and it had me wanting to keep going. I’m so pumped to read the next book in this series.

Loved both narrators Jacob Morgan and Marie Hawkins they both have great voice fluctuations with each and every emotion.

This has everything a dark romance needs! Strong FMC, MMC with sad past. Oh and there’s a quick MFF scene 🥵 Such a great listen!
