A good story, as usual, but why did the boyfriend's name change? Who is Evan, the artist?

Distracting Continuity Error

Suddenly, love interest Evan is …“Fred Astaire”…HOW did this error get missed in the edits?! Frustrating after getting so many books into his existence.

What happened to Evan?

It is so confusing why Evan’s name changed from Evan to Fred. Same author and same reader… very confusing ti make changes at book 9.

Disappointed in the series’ sloppiness..and silliness.

I enjoyed the series for the first few books, but something has happened recently. I agree with the other reviews that it almost seems like someone else/AI is writing it. I love a cozy mystery story but these episodes/stories have gotten silly and are almost caricatures of their previous selves. Sadly, I also purchased the next two books, but don’t think I will listen.

Who is Fred? Why in the world do you change your characters name eight books in? And Fred Astaire of all names… Come on.

I love this series… But I sure don’t know what happened with the writer… There must’ve been a brain freeze somewhere… How does Evan go to being Fred? When you start talking about ex-boyfriend’s is it gonna be George Ralph or Glenn?
