An Impressive Work of World-building

Lokey has created an incredible compendium of Dark Souls lore and mythology to rival that of other ancient and famous pieces of mythos. Abyssal Archives's only real flaw might be its density and low level of accessibility, but this is only a testament to the sheer amount of work that went into cultivating this educational, and seemingly boundless collection of information on a game described as inscrutable. Clearly, with effort, its contents are ripe for the taking.

Non linear helper for a non linear story

This was excellent, but definitely a challenge overview of Dark Souls. I am a casual player of Dark Souls that loved the game but am not a replayer. This read is definitely inspiring me to reconsider that.

The depth of detail they went into was amazing

I love how they want into everything of the biggest lore event and characters the most minor NPCs. Vaat does an excellent job narrating the lore of the games. I love to see what they would do for the with other games in the game series.

The perfect book for a game!

This book is exactly what I am looking for when wanting to read a book about a game. This isn’t a fan story within the game, it IS the game. This helped me understand dark souls and put pieces together about it that would take years to put together my self. Great read if you want to understand the game and potential/likely intentions behind the game!

Great voice, great content

Likely masterfully encapsulates what Dark Souls means. Each chapter is divided into clear and concise sections that illuminate the darkness found in the world of Lordran. Vaati’s wonderful timbre elevates the already powerful words to new heights in eloquent timbre.
