If you find yourself driving down a winding mountain road near an endless stretch of pines, try tuning in to 104.6 FM: the radio station that shouldn't exist. Troubled radio host Evelyn McKinnon returns to her hometown of Pinehaven, but soon realizes the isolated mountain village has secrets of monstrous proportions. She's stalked by a bird with human eyes, her new co-host drives her crazy, and when the fog rolls in, the beasts of Pinehaven Forest begin their brutal, bloody hunt. 'A Lonely Broadcast: Book One' is just the beginning of a gruesome folk horror tale that combines eldritch nightmares, analog horror, and an emotionally-charged story about friendship and grief.

The productions and voices are great! Music accompaniment is very atmospheric but not over powering. Reminded me of night vale a bit? Looking forward to more content from this author/group as a whole. 😁

Unexpected gem

I usually listen to stories to fall asleep. This one gave me nightmares as it should given its genre.

I have listened to the original version before, so I am curious as to what other changes will be made and if more lore would be added or not.

Anything Mr. Creepypasta is involved in is awesome. loved it. Tales From the Gas Station, need I day more. Awesome job by all. Can't wait for the next installment.......

should have guessed it would be good.

Sometimes when you read a book or series, you have a hard time finding another book that can pull your focus away from that series. Taadaaaaa, Kel Byron created a story like I have never heard. It had a Tales From the Gas Station vibe but just a touch more sinister. Great voice acting. I liked it so much I will purchase the physical copy for my collection.

Surprisingly Good

I enjoyed the story very much - it is obviously inspired by creepypasta like the "search and rescue" series, but it was well told.

Unfortunately, the audio quality is really terrible; it's so bad that parts of the dialogue (specifically Daniel's) are almost inaudible. I hope that we see more from the author, and I hope the next book is better produced.

A compelling story marred by subpar production
