Potential

I disliked the main male character because he flirted way too much with the wrong female.

A Delightful Surprise

I am so surprised at how much I enjoy this series. There are so many opportunities for hurt feelings and LIES and misunderstandings to keep the two main characters apart or to come between friends—what a ridiculous, tired trope. Instead, this author allows her characters to GET OVER IT like adults. They aren’t petty. They aren’t dramatic. It’s like they are real people who just keep choosing each other and keep choosing their friendships. Genuinely pleased with these characters and this story. Very refreshing.

PS—All these characters may be alcoholics :)

Mystery, Magic, & Adventure

In book two, the story delves deeper into themes of friendship, loss, and the pull of darkness, set against a world of magic casting and mystical creatures—both adorable and terrifying. Long-buried family secrets are revealed, uncovering the true weight of legacy and magic while exploring the bonds that shape Idalia and Braizen’s lives and the secrets that can change everything. Loved it!

Very well written. Funny entertaining through out the book. I recommend this series. Must read
