Billionaire Alpha’s Runaway Mate (Lycan Dynasty Series Book 2) ~~ I read this one on Kindle and listened on Audible, and I’m just going to say it — this book had me stressed in the best way possible. It’s got that forbidden love + rejection + pregnancy + running for your life kind of storyline.

This one focuses on a human FMC who ends up working around a wolf pack and meets Jared, the Alpha. Their connection builds in such a raw, emotional way especially because she literally sees him at his lowest moment… being rejected by his mate. 

That’s where everything starts. You can feel the pull between them, even though she KNOWS she shouldn’t get involved. But of course… she does. And before long, feelings turn into something real, intense, and complicated especially when she ends up pregnant.

Then comes the twist.

Just when she starts believing in him, she sees something she was never meant to see and that’s when everything falls apart. 

And honestly, I respected her for that.

Jared is one of those Alphas that makes you question everything you want to believe him, but at the same time you’re like… what are you hiding??

The Audible version, again, uses virtual voice. Same deal not perfect, but still easy to follow and good for listening while doing other things.

What I really liked about this one is that it felt darker than the first book. Higher stakes, more emotional damage, and way more tension.

And that ending?? Yeah… it leaves you needing more because there are still layers that haven’t fully unraveled yet.

I would definitely recommend this book and series and can’t wait to start on the next book. If you want to know what happens next, you’ll just have to read this series yourself ~ you won’t regret it.

Great story with only a little sexual undertones. Story is easy reading good for high schoolers and adults.

Good story line clean

I love that it not so sexually graphic except for the fight scene. Direct to the point, no extra useless plat line.

Communication and soap opera drama.

This plot line is ridiculous. Why wouldn’t she just have told someone. And then why would he have forgiven her so easily. The main part of the plot is flimsy. She didn’t have the common sense to tell no one. Not even Ivy. Story would’ve been better if she was meant to be left alone and the coparented. As a good leader, why would he have someone not he couldn’t trust leading his pack.
