the virtual voice is ok, i made it through but it doesnt pronounce things correctly all the time and the cadence - pausing and stopping isnt always in the correct places.

the story is cute, I liked it. had to finish.

Broken Rejected Mate (Badlands Wolves Book 2) ~~ Emin and Veva… whew. This one hit differently. Emin is ruthless at first cold, calculating, and completely dismissive of Veva. And she feels every bit of that rejection. But Veva doesn’t stay weak she grows, and I loved watching that shift.

Then comes the secret baby storyline, and let me tell you it adds pressure in all the right ways. Emin doesn’t just have to face his past mistakes, he has to face the consequences of them walking around in the form of his child. And suddenly, that powerful Alpha isn’t so untouchable anymore.

The emotional tension in this one was stronger than Book 1. There’s more at risk, more pride involved, and more heartbreak before anything even begins to heal.

Audible narration really nailed Emin’s internal conflict you can hear the shift from cold Alpha to someone realizing he messed up badly. Kindle pacing was smooth and kept things moving without dragging.

This book leans heavier into redemption, and I was here for every second of it.

I would definitely recommend this book and series and can’t wait to start on the next book. If you want to know what happens next, you’ll just have to read this series yourself ~ you won’t regret it.

Surprisingly good

The story was a nice balance of romance and intrigue. The AI audio narration was surprisingly decent. There were only a few times that the pronunciation was off. I don’t know if I would do it again, since I do prefer the natural inflection of a real person.

That it was a Love story

There were other plots to the story but this was straight up about two partners life. I really enjoyed that. 😊

AI Narration Sucks

I thought the story was pretty good and had a decent plot. I really liked some of the characters. However, the AI narration was really bad. I’d be angry if I paid money for this, but it was free with my audible subscription.
