Broken Pregnant Mate (Badlands Wolves Book 3) ~~ Aiden and Emaile gave me all the tension. This one is packed with history childhood connection, unspoken bond, and that deep “we were always meant to be” feeling… until he rejects her anyway.

Emaile being forced to pretend to be his mate after everything that happened? That’s where things get messy in the best possible way. The emotional conflict here is strong because she knows he’s her mate… and he still chose not to choose her.

Aiden’s internal struggle is frustrating but realistic. He’s torn between duty, pride, and what he actually feels and it takes a lot for him to finally face it.

The Audible version really shines here because you can feel the tension in their conversations. Kindle-wise, this one felt a little more emotional and layered compared to the first two.

This book leans hard into forced proximity and unresolved feelings and it works.

I would definitely recommend this book and series and can’t wait to start on the next book. If you want to know what happens next, you’ll just have to read this series yourself ~ you won’t regret it.

I really liked this story but have like to had both male and female voices

Decent story, but narration kills it

I’ve listened to the first 3 books in this series and have the same general thoughts on all of them. The story was pretty good and had a good plot. I really liked some of the characters. I prefer more world building, but the books are very short, so that’s a trade off.

The AI narration is really bad. It almost kills the story at times because it’s just “off” and some pronunciations are so bad. A good narrator would make the books SO much better.

I liked Emily and Aiden

It seems disjointed had trouble keeping track of who was who. Not enough info on characters
