Duet Narration❤️❤️❤️

I probably finished this because of the narration, which was a wonderful surprise. Duet narration needs to become the norm (along with discontinuing “Virtual Voice”).
I really liked the story premise, and the writing. But while I’m a fan of the sexy, it seemed like the mystery and what I thought was the main plot line devolved into more than half being all about the extended sex scenes and expected angst of both main characters. I would have like more of the “who done it” details, and less of the 2-3 chapter run-ons of a sex scene. Yes, I know that will come in the upcoming series, but it dragged on a little too long.

Incredible storytelling

I am soooo going to read the rest of this series. The character depth was amazing. I’ve read one of her other books and now I will need to read all of them.

The performers were believable. I thought they were excellent

LOVEDDDD THIS!

Wow - Love the start of this series! “City boy” Owen and “Good girl” Lila were such a fun read! Oh, did I mention that Lila is Owen’s brother’s ex-girlfriend? YEAH! Throw in the tropes of: boss/employee, grumpy-ish/sunshine, small town, and lots of tension, it made me want to go to Maine and get my own lumberjack! Can’t wait to continue this series! The narrators did a phenomenal job, and I loved the two of them together telling this story!

I havent had this much fun in a long time while reading an author I had no idea about.
