Living with insensitive, tactless, careless, inattentive, difficult, self-absorbed, neglectful, damaging, condemning, harsh, hard, treacherous, deceiving, prejudiced, and paralyzing people…can make you crazy!

Chances are, there's at least one person like that in your life right now-a person who is always right. Behavior ranges from indifference and unconcern to complete narcissism and destruction.

Dr. Paul Meier and Dr. Robert Wise created this important text to assist you in recognizing this behavior and dealing with it. Their most important message: It's not you! It's them! The doctors' insight will help you understand how narcissistic people think and how they affect those around them. Finally, they offer Seven Steps to help you walk out of a crisis with someone like this.

Questionnaires and exercises are included in the audiobook companion PDF download.

I think this was good, but had a religious undertone that I was not expecting.

This has a religious bent that was unexpected.

As someone surviving a narcissistic relationship that attempted to blow up our family, this book offers tools and insight into an area that few people can understand. The examples are relevant, the Christian worldview is encouraging, and of all the books I’ve read on this subject, this one is by far the best and most strengthening. The author offers tools and analysis to assess your situation and move forward its strength, not as a victim. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

A refreshing surprise!

Started off well, with many legitimately useful insights about crazy making people. Pointed out traits of narcissists and how they abuse others for this and that reason. But before I knew it, I was hearing, “you need to invite the love of Jesus Christ into your heart,” and “it’s the only way” to solve your problems etc.

I bought this book to gain psychological insight into crazy makers and find useful strategies for dealing with them, not to attend Sunday school. I want my money back and am going to pursue a refund immediately.

Religious propaganda masquerading as psychological support
