I actually turned this book off and had a talk with my kids to explain what was inappropriate. In the first story, the family is adopting two children from Korea, and one girl complains to her mother, "Do we have to keep them??" At the end, they also announce that the Korean children can't keep their real Korean names and need to choose new English names. Absolutely awful.
