Ezra

Partying, dudes, and hockey. What more could a gay NHL player want?

If it weren't for Anton Hayes, my life would be perfect.

Not that he affects my life in any way. At all. That would imply I care what the winger from Philly thinks of me.

Which I don't.

Not even a one-night stand with him can thaw his misplaced animosity toward me.

He says I'm the one with the ego, but he can talk. He rivals me for most egotistical puck boy in the league.

I hate him as much as he hates me. Even if I crave a repeat.

Anton

When it comes to hockey, I'm all about the game.

I've worked for years to be one of the best in the league, and l've done it without splashing my orientation all over the tabloids.

My hockey image is one I've carefully cultivated, and after one night with Ezra Palaszczuk, I risk it all.

He's cocky, obnoxious, and has an ego bigger than Massachusetts. And okay, maybe he's the sexiest man I've ever known.

We'll never get along. Not when we sleep together. Not even when my possessive streak awakens.

That doesn't stop us from falling into bed together over and over again.

Seemingly opposing personalities fall in love. Enjoyed the egotist's banter and sarcasm which was well presented by his voice. Anton's journey in coming out mirrored the trip many of us make.Listening is more enjoyable making EACH word a gem. Listen and enjoy.

Very funny and at the same time moving and beautiful. A totally man’s world. I loved that too.

Great!

You had me at Boston hockey.

From the jump, Ezra and Anton serve up peak rivals to lovers energy: equal parts ego, sexual tension, and chirping that could start a brawl. Ezra is the out-loud and proud wildcard with zero filter and a flair for chaos, while Anton is all scowls, control, and hockey-first intensity. Their banter is brutal, their chemistry delicious, and their ability to deny their feelings? Absolutely pathetic. In the best way. You’ll be rooting for them even as they try to out-snark each other into oblivion.

But underneath all the snark and steam, there’s heart. The found family vibes? Chef’s kiss. Ezra brings the wild energy, Anton brings the grounding force, and together they figure out how to be more than just a headline or hookup. There’s growth, vulnerability, and enough emotional depth to keep you fully invested without ever losing the fun.

Don’t even get me started on the spice. It kicks in early and does not let up. If you like your romance fast, filthy, and full of feelings, this one’s a no-brainer. Puckboys brings the heat, the heart, and the hockey, all wrapped in sass and sweat. Anton and Ezra don’t just score, they leave a mark. I want an Ezra!!!

That’s Boston Hockey, Baby!!

I absolutely loved this story. I read this one out of order, I read the 2nd book first of this series first and before I read the CU Hockey Books which this basically spins off from so I wasn’t sure if I’d like Ezra but right from the beginning I adored him. It took me a little more time to love Anton cause even listening I was protective of Ezra’s feelings but I grew to love him as well, and I loved the banter between the two characters and how that stayed part of their relationship even as they progressed to falling in love. This was a wonderful start to a new series, even though I cheated with Book 2. I just loved the intro of the Queer Collective as a whole. Also I have to say the narration was perfect, they are two of my favorites especially together. Another great book from Eden Finley and Saxon James.

Wonderful Start to a New Series!
