After jumping ship on my wedding day, I never thought I’d be in a relationship so soon.

This book is a sweet, non-steamy, small-town contemporary romance and is free of profanity and explicit content (unless you count the occasional smoldering kiss). While this particular book addresses the topic of grieving the loss of a loved one, you can rest assured that there is a HEA (happily ever after) ending in store. This book is also a stand-alone. There will be no cliffhanger ending or unanswered questions. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Narration

The storyline is great, but the AI narration reduced the quality. The narration was monotone, and there were mistakes.

I liked the story.

I do not care for virtual voice. It takes away from character development, experience and overall performance.

A bit too corny …

Since this is narrated through a virtual voice, maybe they could work on doing dual performances in a male and a female voice just cause it’s kind of blah. I don’t really mind virtual voice audiobooks, but this one was just kind boring. I’d often times confuse whose point of view was speaking so just knowing a different voice change might be well worth it. Since each chapter is the others point of view, it might work out better that way.

The story was clean and enjoyable. I wish it was read by a real narrator.

Narrators do not have to worry about AI taking their jobs!

Cute story, but the AI narrating was terrible. Punctuation was off, emotion was off and it was hard at times to know who was speaking in the story. Human narrators do not need to worry about AI taking over their job. There is no comparison between a good narrator and AI.
