Growing up deaf in a family that ignored her caused Nakyra to embrace the silence.

When she meets Rome, she believes she's found the one, and after years of being together, the two decide it's time to finally tie the knot when tragedy hits. Then he comes into the picture, and her whole world is suddenly flipped upside down. No matter how forbidden he might be, she can't seem to ignore the feelings forming for him. Everything she thought she knew is suddenly being tested and leaves her conflicted.

Everyone getting what they deserved.

I love the alternating POV! I also felt more educated on how the deaf community toom I also love that as a grown woman she found her voice and someone who truly loved and worshipped her.. and her body. Also once they said Creed had a lower grill.. i was smitten. Spice level was 3ish/5. I will be sharing and reading again. I loved the ending .. very messy but satisfying.

Nice story! very intriguing. my only con is that the male story telling was too monotone causing a detachment from the story every time his voice chimed in.

Loved it… the representation is everything!

My Lawd! Tay just does it for me. Don’t let the cute cover fool ya baby there is some thangs going on in this here book! The FMCs character was written so well and I loved how Tay showed how she navigated being deaf in a community hell bent on misunderstanding you. This was too good!

A great all around listen

It was a good book that was well written I all aspects; storyline, moderators, and sex appeal. From start to finish well done.
