From the day we met, Fire Carlson and I have been in chaos. His constant jokes and witty remarks drive me crazy, and he knows it. We argue and fight, but there are two things I can't deny: our undeniable attraction and how he excels as a father. One heated interaction changes our lives, and suddenly, Fire needs my help. We have to prove that his boys are safe and loved, or risk Fire losing them forever.

I've never taken Fire seriously until I had to live in his house, pretend to be his woman, and try not to fall in love with him. It doesn't help that he's trying to prove we are meant to be together. He may tell a joke or two, but one thing is certain: Fire's going all out to show that he's never faking about me.

Love love love it

Great addition to the entire Family Saga. I love Aubrey J’s universe. I read this book when it came out. The narrators only brought it more to life for me. I love Miles and Trei.

It is worth the credit... good book

I like the fake relationship/marriage tropes and this one is really good. Fire knew Lynx was his wife from the first time he saw her, but he did what men do. This is a good listen/read... so much so that I went to kindle and red Caught Me Slippin' which tells the story of McCoy and Earth, which I think should be first out of these two books. I will be listening/reading more of Aubry J. books.

Can't Fake Real Love

This was my first book by this author and I was not disappointed!
Fire did not play about Lynx! I loved their banter! I loved the relationship and connection was rooted in the love for the kids! As always, the narrators were awesome! Can't wait to read more from the author!
