One of the best sports stories!!

Well written. I grew up in Terre Haute during this time. The book truly captures the excitement, disappointment and legacy of the 1979 ISU basketball team.

The back stories about all the athletes and the coaches

I thought the author did an excellent job of telling about the team. The individual lives of the players and the after lives of some of the players.

Not just about Bird but also about those who knew him in college

This was an excellent book and extremely well read. It was a joy to listen to it although I was on “Team Magic’s” side during Bird’s pro career.
