Not a YA Thriller, but still good

I picked this one, thinking I would be getting a basic YA thriller. I mean, look at the cover, right?!? But it's actually much more than that, it deals with loss and forgiveness and grief. Much heavier topics than I thought I was getting, but I ended up really liking the story. The characters feel real and believable, which doesn't happen often in YA novels. 4 stars! Which from me, is really good, I only give 5 stars to my favorites.

Love love loved it!

I really enjoyed how the story was unfolded. Only one predictable twist, if you will, but that particular aspect made it even better somehow. Not a major rollercoaster but definitely some ups, downs, twists & turns and so worth the ride! The narrator was great, very easy to listen to with fantastic character portrayal.

Dumbest Heroine

Good grief, this heroine was so dumb. She's a teenager, so I get it a little bit, but she has no common sense and is way too forgiving.

There is no real "mystery" or "thrill" here, so I'm not really sure what genre to call this, teen angst and grief?

A decent listen, though. Not a book I would read or listen to again though.

Narrator's voice is smooth and easy to listen to.

It’s not what you think.

It is a great story. She really is able to write each character so you can really see who they are. I mean, you can almost figure out the who did it and the why before the answer is revealed but it’s really good story. The narrator is awesome. I loved the way she read the story. She was really really good. I would love to give her five stars as well.

The whole thing

I enjoyed this whole book. it may or may not have been intended for young adults and I am decidedly not a young adult. this had great character development and a great story. although sad as it was, it had a great ending. I will definitely suggest it to my friends.
