Cal will now start his training alongside his peers at the Hexinblade Academy, where he will learn to wield the powers given to him by whoever sent him to this world. To use the sword and master the art of combat against the enemies that will soon come for him and those he now holds dear.

But time is not on his side. Cal will have to face both shadow and human threats to survive this next phase of his journey. All while forging relationships with the amazing women in his life and getting over his long-held fears.

He must finally become the man he was meant to be.

Great Series

This storyline has it all girls, magic, fae, demons, and much more. takes you alittle while to get used to how slow the plot progresses but it's worth it. I'll by buying everyone of the books in this story as well as all books written by the author.

the humor and the voice actors range

love the story so far the action sequences (both spicy and nonspicy) were very well written. The build up, intruige and layers of betrayal and paranoia, coupled with the air of hopelessness and perseverance. Its definitely setting up for an awesome crescendo. whens the next book comming out??

good but the over explanation doubled the length

good listen and story but the analogies and explanations often just dragged on and on something that could have been a sentence turned to 2 paragraphs or 30seconds of narrative turned to 5 mins. still good though could have been better though

same as book 1

kind of hard to get into just like book 1 the MC is total idiot a lot and sure acts cowardly to boot i mean has the author ever even served the MC in this story would never made it past basic with the way he acts doesn't matter what service the author chooses to use he makes coastguard guard sound weak which they are not and as long as the MC supposedly been in he would have made at least junior non commissioned officer I do lole most of the story just the main MC is lackluster in behavior with he supposed background he has the plot of story is alright but with the MC it's hard to get into the story sometimes

Could this story be any slower?

ok, so I enjoyed the first book, but this book, we are literally 1 week from when he arrived and we have gotten no where. his power development is near 0, he has 1 incident where no one was hurt and he becomes a self deprecating loser, and doesn't understand that his team needs to to stand on their own feet. He thinks he needs to be the one taking all the hits and dealing all the damage, leaving his team completely outside the ability to learn and grow.

I wanted this book series to be good, but nope, it's more of a joke and the terrible jokes are getting old, I made it just under 6hrs left of the book and I wish I could return this trash.

author, you have a lot of great potential but I hate that your characters are becoming the most annoying turds, these aren't kids, they are 20+ year olds, mature adults who have rational thoughts. not children.
