loved this one.. I liked book 1 but book 2 was great.. loved the story line.. wish it was duet other than that it was great

His Obsession

This is the second 🎧book in the series and it was just okay. I think the narration was off for both of the main characters. It could’ve been so much better with different narrators & in duet style. The story was a slow burn, age gap, love story of brother’s best friend falls for younger sister and visa versa. The book could’ve been shorten, it was unnecessarily long. On a positive note it does end with an HEA❣️
Is it worth a credit? It’s a no for me but if you like what I said you should give it a chance.

Loooong. I mean, just very long. I was hoping it would be a book where the MMC would be obsessed, really in a kind of psycho thriller way. But no. It’s not even a he-falls-first trope. It’s your run of the mill brother’s best friend, we-can’t-be-together, surprise pregnancy kind of book. And it’s rather ho hum at that. The narrators are excellent though, and they’re super enjoyable to listen to. However, the dialogue is a bit on the cringey side a lot of the time. I wanted to like this one, but I’m just glad it’s over, and I’m glad I got it on sale.
