Kayla!!

So excited to finally get Kayla’s story. It would’ve been better with two male narrators or have Ryan West change his voice for one of them. I’ve loved Kayla’s strong presence among all the brothers’ stories. The fact that two strong men fell for her together fit. I also loved that they loved her strength and weren’t at all intimidated by her and championed it. Slay Queen!

Sad about the weak plot

I actually feel like this book was a huge injustice to Kayla - I love that she found 2 men but there was no real plot with major arching crisis. She had a couple moments of shining but it just felt like a whole different tale than the rest of the series…felt like another author was writing. I also want to know if Maddox and Riggs ever get together as lovers and have so many more questions that could’ve been answered or even written for assumption. It ended too abruptly.
