FMC not My Favorite

wasn't it for me heroine was very NAIVE AND ANNOYING for a woman with smarts,she always made dumb choices that made every situation worse. i couldnt stand Jess . perfect narrator for the series. I think story was good.

Fun and flirty adventure

I have read this book with my eyeballs a couple of times but it’s been a while. I am so glad it was just as good a few years later being able to earball read. I love that one of my favorite series is being produced on audible! Kane’s voice was deep and gravely in just the right way. His fun and flirty banter came through. This book is quite funny! Jess’s voice was very dimensional. She had to portray anger, worry, outrage, grief, sass, and so many other emotions. It was very well done. I’m hoping it will gain much more traction and get some hype it deserves with audible being an option. Dual narration was done well.

I have listened to 292 books and this is the one and only I have left a review for!
I laughed out loud so many times! I ugly faced cried for over 30 minutes! This was a PHENOMENAL story!
The only two things that I could possibly say bad are: 1.) I wish the narration was always the female speaking her lines and the male his lines instead of the male using a female voice and vice versa. But the male and female narrators nailed the characters so I am not truly complaining and 2.) I think the 3 days of falling in love was somewhat unrealistic but that didn’t really bother me either. This book was the perfect amount of humor, plot, spice and reality!

Loved Kane & Jess! Great narration!

I’ve read and reread this book so many times, I’ve lost count, but nothing quite compares to hearing Kane Bishop’s growly voice in my ears, large and in charge! Dane Anderson and Audrey Obeyn hit this out of the park! I love the way they embodied the emotion, the suspense, and the fiery chemistry between Kane and Jess, while still juggling all the other characters, too! They are the perfect duo to narrate this darker and twistier series!!
