Darkness threatens to consume him, but nothing will stop him from keeping her safe....

Ricochet:

All it takes is one glance and I know Jordan is going to be mine.

Her sweet smile and infectious energy make me feel alive again.

She chases away the shadows, giving me a reason to continue on.

But just as I’m beginning to win the elusive beauty over trouble comes for my family.

I may be a veteran with PTSD and a member of a notorious motorcycle club, but both have given me skills that allow me to address any threat and win.

I refuse to let my past dictate my future, and convincing Jordan to trust me is a matter of life and death.

Jordan:

From the first moment that Ricochet and I meet, I know he’s trouble.

The sexy biker has a dangerous and mysterious past that scares me.

I’ve been down this road before with my violent ex and I’m not sure I can do it again.

As I get to know him, I realize he’s more than just a biker with a tough exterior.

Can I trust my own heart even though it’s led me astray before?

When danger comes, I find myself trapped in the crossfire. His past catching up with him is everything I’ve been afraid of, and I’m not sure what to do.

I know deep down that Ricochet will do anything to protect me, but can I learn to trust him even though I’ve been burned in the past?

Ricochet has been a character that you knew was going to have a powerful story. The ways this man's past has tormented and haunted him finally reveal themselves. He is absolutely in the right place with his brothers in the MC as they understand/support him in ways that he didn't know he needed. When life gets a little too much, he retreats to his sister's house with his niece and nephew for a little down time. He didn't expect that Jordan their neighbor was going to be the sunshine to his gloom. I adore how great Ricochet is with kids and how protective he is of his family. Jordan has had a few bad experiences with dating so she's hesitant to go all in with Ricochet but she's stronger than she knows. Jordan is close with her family, and I loved that her parents were quick to give her perspective. Who doesn't love it when the bad guy gets the karma he deserves. Don't wait on this series or this audiobook. I can't get enough and I can't wait for the next audiobook!

I really enjoyed this one. Its does not have the high level of activity the past books have had but he is fighting an intense internal battle. I loved learning about Ricochet and his family. It really gives a different look for these hardened guys. Jordan has the coolest job!! I loved learning what she and her Dad do! I can see the appeal to a few of the MC guys as well. Overall I liked this one. The kindness and fun the brothers have towards each other is always a great time to me. The audio is well done by these two! I was thrilled to see them narrating this one.

Good story for Ricochet.

I was extremely happy to get his story and to learn about his past. He found a great partner when he found Jordan.

Jordan and Ricochet

I enjoyed this one. Ricochet is spiraling from what happened at the compound and from his war days. Staying with his sister and her kids he meets Jordan her neighbor and has an immediate attraction. In this one their is MC stuff, the relationship between Jordan and Ricochet, his twin sister's crazy ex, reunion from Ricochet's past. I really love in all the series Priest's girls and their interactions with the bikers. The narrators did a good job but and this is my preference each narrator did the voices for their character so that means when Jordan's chapter is read the characters have a different voice than when Ricochet's characters in his chapters.
