Tale of madness that comes from the depths of the swamps in the south. Delusional characters that are controlled by their own demons. Great narration that captures southern accent of all ages.

This is the third time I’ve gone through this one. I don’t know what it is. It seems hard to find a good horror story that I don’t give up on halfway through and this one really does it for me.

BRAVO!!!! this book is fantastic. I haven't read a book this scary since reading Adam Nevill's the ritual years ago. the characters are great & realistic. the story is great, scary & keeps you hooked. i just loved it! you should read it too! <3
