Now that Frank's buried a healthy number of impolite guests in the back yard, things are looking up for him. Kind of.

Frank and his adopted family have plenty of work to do. The guests are thirsty and they want new drinks, the walls yearn for more heads...err, trophies, and his purse dreams of being just a bit fuller.

Popularity is never something Frank yearned for, but the club has made him rather important to the Ashpit and its many inhabitants. But not everything is roses and sunshine when Frank is invited to a meeting of the most notable Sankta Varathian club owners. Deals are offered, new faces promise him the world, and gold begins to flow...but as it usually goes, everything that seems to good to be true, usually is.

Suddenly staying afloat isn't that important as he has to protect his home and newfound family. And Frank will do everything and then some to keep them all safe. More dedicated than ever and sporting a brand new outhouse, the Midnights are just getting started.

What an enjoyable ride!

I really enjoyed this book. The progression, story and narration are spot on and I look forward to continuing the story of Frank Gerber Midnight and his Midnight Bounties crew.
