You are not broken. Your brain is built to change.
If you or someone you love has faced trauma, anxiety, ADHD, autism, chronic pain, learning challenges, or other struggles rooted in the brain, and nothing has truly helped—you’re not alone. The Mind Rewired is for anyone who’s become discouraged after being told “nothing more can be done.” It reveals another path.
Through 25 deeply personal and inspiring stories, you’ll meet people who took a leap of faith and gave neurofeedback a chance. Their reward: lives transformed in ways they never thought possible—all without medication

Importantly, he does not present neurofeedback as a panacea. Instead, he frames it as a valuable tool within a broader therapeutic toolbox—one that, when used or guided by a knowledgeable clinician, can make a transformative difference in a person’s life. Cohen discusses the practical realities of neurofeedback, including the time and financial commitment it can require, as well as the possibility that occasional “refresher” sessions may be needed. This book will hopefully encourage individuals seeking treatment to consider neurofeedback as a viable option, while also inspiring clinicians to pursue the training necessary to incorporate it into their practices.
As a lay practitioner, I witnessed the benefits of neurofeedback firsthand in my own family more than a quarter century ago. Yet even today, there remain far too few trained practitioners offering this powerful, natural approach to healing the mind.
