Wendy Walker is the internationally bestselling author of suspense novels, including the Audible Originals Hold Your Breath, American Girl, and Mad Love. Her novels have been translated into 23 foreign languages, topped bestseller lists both nationally and abroad, and have been optioned for both television and film. Wendy holds degrees from Brown University and Georgetown Law School. This book was a diversion for me from what I normally read and I was pleasantly surprise. I stumbled upon it when I was out of credits and it was available for free. I wasn't familiar with the author and don't read a lot in the genre, but the sample hooked me right away and I tore through it in a couple of days. I don't want to say too much about the plot because I wouldn't want to give much a way, but she takes a couple of big swings and they connect. The surprises are genuinely surprising, but well-earned. The concept (shocking crime brings a small towns secrets to the surface) isn't new, but it's well executed. And the narrators did a good job.

Very well written and awesome audible production, I hope to find more like this! Romance but without being trashy and we'll rounded characters and a plot that kept you guessing!
