Wow! I didn’t expect the outcome. Very well done.Just when I thought I figured out the ending , I didn’t.

Great Ending!

I didn't like the main character's excessive musings, which unnecessarily lengthened the story. I loved the surprise ending.

Good storytelling and nice storyline. I like a good twist also. I’m glad it was offered as a freebie for now. I will look for other work from the author.

Twist and Turns

I liked the overall story of this gated community which gives the residents a false sense of security. Pretending to be friends but in reality at the first sign of danger they all start pointing fingers at each other with no proof just suspicion.

I listened to the Widower first not knowing that it was a continuation of The Stepson. In certain chapters I felt like I had heard the exact same sentences from the other story. Overall I was entertained by both stories.
