Gerri Seward poses as Gerri Ward, a housekeeper at Emory Estates, hoping to vindicate her grandfather who died in prison for a murder he did not commit. Her faith weak, Gerri works on her own guile with the help of the estate's groundskeeper and handyman, Rich Drake. In the gloomy mansion, Gerri finds clues, but the closer she gets to the answer, danger rises. As her relationship grows with Rich and with the Lord, she charges forward, determined to uncover the evidence she needs and to experience the blessing of a growing love.
