Those Who Wait

Sutton Spencer's ideas for her life were fairly simple: finish graduate school and fall in love. It would be a lot simpler if she could pinpoint exactly what she should do when she graduates in less than a year. Oh, and if she could figure out how to talk to a woman without feeling like a total mess, that would be great, too.

Charlotte Thompson is very much the opposite. She's always had clear steps outlining her path to success with no time or inclination for romance. Her burgeoning career in politics means everything to her, and she's not willing to compromise it for something as insignificant as love. Fleeting, casual, and discreet worked perfectly fine.

very long but so worth it

First book by this author. I thought it was way too long and they were many chances to end it but... the story may have not been as strong. I loved the story so much. I loved this book so much. I loved the writing so much. and can we talk about how awesome Lori Prince is? amazing she was/ is. the sex scenes are so steamy and hot. I loved loved this book!

Could not love this book more!

This is my new favorite book! Finished then immediately started it again.
I love this author so much and since Lori Prince could read me the phone book and make me happy, I can't love it more.

Great story but Reagan…ugh

Okay, so I loved the MCs and the story itself. People have complained about the internal dialogue but I enjoyed that too because I like knowing what the characters are thinking. But Reagan annoyed the heck out of me. Yes, she’s a lifelong friend to Sutton, and yes, she has some redeeming qualities but the lines and boundaries she crossed…if she were my friend in real life, I’m not sure how close she’d be. Definitely not a best friend. Otherwise…I loved the interactions and the slow build up between the MC’s as they truly got to know each other vs jumping immediately into bed.

Love it!

Now I want to know more about what happens with Sutton and Charlotte, but beautiful story and I adore how you told the characters stories and POV.

i loved this book, it was a little to long for my patience, but it was good, and I am glad Charlotte was not 100% successful, because we are bound to fail from time to time and it is human, connected to reality, and it allows the writer to create a sequel.
