Better and better

Yep this series just keeps getting better. I am glad I came back to listen to the series that started it all, and it just gets better! Eve John Solo’s narration, which is good but his whisper narrating works better with this book.

Truth or Darren is a low angst, sister's ex boyfriend, enemies to lovers, bi-awakening, small town romance, with sweet dirty talk.

I have loved Darren and his snark since I met him in Two Truths and A Lyle. So I was super excited to see that Darren, a straight man had his own book.

Darren dated Linc's twin sister in High School and when the relationship ended, Linc and his family treated Darren poorly, blaming him for breaking her heart.

So when Linc comes home from college the summer before his senior year and is dared to kiss Darren during a party game, both men are shocked by the chemistry.

I love that Darren, the straight one is also the one pursuing the relationship. What a fun and different approach to the “bi-awakening” trope.

Overall I loved this book and this whole series!

It's a feel good story and I absolutely love the nod to neurodivergent awareness.

Loved this story and the excellent narration.. Except... I have to mention that it seems the author does not know the difference between "resent" and "resemble". The words are not remotely similar and neither are their meanings. I'd think the narrator might correct this in the reading, but alas, he did not. Otherwise, this book and the entire series is absolutely delightful! Recommend.
P. S. My absolute favourite character is Curt. 😂

Story ok. Narrator… ugh

Story was good for the trope I suppose…
Narrator was my issue… John is good… but not for dual perspective stories. He has no change in narration between main characters. Couldn’t tell the difference…
