Another great book

I'm not crying! You're crying!!

I can't wait for the next book in the series!

To those that are giving the book low reviews, this series is following the path of a hero. I am sure the author could get the entire adventure done in 3 books but then the journey would feel rushed. This is a slower series that focuses on the characters and their relationships more then the journey itself. We are just beginning the adventure!

Lots of whining and nagging

While some my love it, I found it utterly boring. Had to skip whole chapters. It felt like a bad YA novel. I like blah but blah likes blah blah. What if blah blah doesnt accept my broody past due to blah blah blah. SKIP.

The book had maybe 4 hours of actual intersting story and interactions with the rest being side character POV and whining about who might have what feelings about who.

Then there is the Gods who the MC should refuse to be guilted into serving. Should tell them to screw off and if they refuse to help she refuses to do thier quest. The end. She will take the punishment for refusing. In fact her new goal should be becoming strong enough to kill those gods. Rebel, Cultivator, warrior, hero..the lot of them. Wipe them out and get new ones who know the consequences of thier games.

Can please progress??

Don't get me wrong I like the books and all and I'm going to keep reading as they come out. That being said the fact that at the end of book 3 the MC is STILL Crystal Cast is insane. Especially when you factor in all of the fighting that she is supposedly doing off page going on missions and with the pitched battles and such towards the end. Can we please for the love of all those questionable Gods out there get some actually class progress? At this rate we are going to be barely breaking into the higher tier of power like ruby by book 15.
