ALC Review

OMG. I didn't think it was possible to love this book even more than I already did, but with Cassandra's writing and the amazing work of these narrators, this book was brought to life in a way I didn't even know was possible.

The female narrator did an incredible job of capturing Millicent's attitude and hidden vulnerabilities, while also somehow bringing so much life to Ollie and the other characters. I was actually giddy hearing Ollie for the first time. I love that little imp so much, I might actually never recover if anything happens to him in the books to come.

And then the male narrator... I was absolutely blown away by how well Cage's character was captured. It was pretty much exactly how I thought he would be in my head when I read this through the first time. His unapologetic attitude comes through so well, and the banter and spicy scenes with Millicent had me floored. It was just perfect. And on top of that, when chapter 43 rolled around, it had my jaw on the floor. I can't believe the skill and heart behind the voices in this audiobook, and you can guarantee I will be grabbing up the audio for the next books as well.

These characters live rent-free in my head, and I couldn't be happier to have their voices in there now too lol

Love it more

I loved the book but listening to the audiobook has made me love it more. It’s now my go to audiobook if I am ever in a reading slump. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Narrators were amazing!
